Well we are finally up on the net with some of the services from Grace Tabernacle…Please let us know what you think and if you are getting any thing out of the Bible studies and the Sunday sermons. There is much happening here at Thurston Ministries.  We have opened two new food pantries plus the one at Grace Tab. So all three are in operation as we speak.  We process about 50 food boxes each month and fill in for people during the time of the month that we don’t provide full boxes. Currently we are working with the Naeir Corp. to provide other basic items that are not normally at the food pantry’s and this could include clothing, cleaning supplies, tools for those who are experiencing hard times and need to get on their feet.  And every imaginable item that you may think of. 

Personally speaking Karyn and I are doing better since she has employment and full benefits!  Thank you Jesus!!  She is a Nurse Manager for a local healthcare provider, and as she said to me, she thinks she is going to like this position and company as soon as she learns what is expected of her.  People always ask how I am doing health wise?  As Tony the Tiger said it best “Grrreat” I have my moments but all in all the Lord has healed my body and He is keeping me, as I know, to do His will. 
The phrase that keeps running through my mind as of late is an old song from the late 80’s

How about you?  This life is so short, when will you desire to do His will instead of you own, make the decision today!

If anybody would have told me that my life and what I am doing right now would have been this way, I would have called them a liar and a crazy person.  But the most incredible thing that I have ever been a part of is this…To Jesus be all the Glory and honor and praise.  It truly is not about how famous a person could or can be, but if Jesus can be glorified through that life and He be seen.  That is my prayer or better said my cry.

Every month I come Requesting your help in this ministry and I know that the times are very difficult for a lot of people.  But we need your financial help now more than ever. 

Just to keep this Web-site in operation and now to stream video on it is quite expensive for the ministry monthly.  We purchase video tapes, which are not normal tapes, but special digital video cassettes from Sony, and DVD’s for the local broadcast in Belfast.

One video cassette alone is $15.41 each they are HDV to reuse them as I have been doing, produces “drop outs” or blank spaces in the video.  I will work around them.  All of this takes money from the ministry, but it is a necessary expense.  Since we are not running the editor at this point we have to pay an hourly rate for dubbing over to the Mpeg format, people have asked us to put our services on the site and we are, but it does not come without a price.  Please if God so moves on your heart to give please obey Him and help us. 

The food pantries are very costly to operate on a limited budget, but God has always provided and will continue to because we know that only He could have opened the doors for it to happen.  Your gifts go to help so many people hear and feel the Love of Jesus.  Words cannot express our gratitude for you generosity.    Only eternity will tell just what the Lord has done through your lives and your faithfulness to this ministry.
